Selon le syst\u00e8me de r\u00e9ticulation, on distingue le HTV (silicone solide), le LSR (silicone liquide) et le RTV (r\u00e9ticulation \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante). Lindemann transforme ces trois types par extrusion, injection et calandrage en tuyaux, profil\u00e9s et pi\u00e8ces moul\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu&rsquo;est-ce que le caoutchouc silicone ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le caoutchouc silicone (en anglais : silicone rubber ; appellation chimique correcte : \u00e9lastom\u00e8re polysiloxane) est un mat\u00e9riau synth\u00e9tique compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;un squelette inorganique Si-O-Si avec des groupements lat\u00e9raux organiques, le plus souvent m\u00e9thyle (\u2013CH\u2083) ou vinyle (\u2013CH=CH\u2082). Le terme \u00ab caoutchouc \u00bb se r\u00e9f\u00e8re au comportement \u00e9lastique de type gomme obtenu apr\u00e8s r\u00e9ticulation \u2014 et non \u00e0 une parent\u00e9 chimique avec le caoutchouc naturel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9ticulation s&rsquo;effectue \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de peroxydes, de complexes de platine ou de catalyseurs \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tain. Sa mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re, le silicium, est le deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9l\u00e9ment le plus abondant de la Terre apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne. Lors de son \u00e9limination, le silicone se d\u00e9compose en dioxyde de silicium (sable), CO\u2082 et eau. Pour les applications tr\u00e8s souples, des duret\u00e9s Shore A 10\u201320 sont possibles ; pour les pi\u00e8ces techniques particuli\u00e8rement dures, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Shore A 90. Contrairement aux caoutchoucs classiques, il ne subit aucun vieillissement par les UV ou l&rsquo;ozone. La dur\u00e9e de vie m\u00e9canique d\u00e9pend de la temp\u00e9rature, de la sollicitation et de l&rsquo;environnement chimique \u2014 dans les applications standard, 100 000 \u00e0 1 million de cycles de charge sont possibles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-5-31461\">\n<strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Combien co\u00fbte le caoutchouc silicone ?<\/strong>\n<p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Le caoutchouc silicone standard se situe entre 8 et 15 \u20ac\/kg, les compounds r\u00e9sistant aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures entre 15 et 25 \u20ac\/kg, les qualit\u00e9s m\u00e9dicales LSR entre 25 et 60 \u20ac\/kg. Les compounds sp\u00e9ciaux (\u00e9lectriquement conducteurs, r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la flamme) peuvent atteindre 100 \u20ac\/kg.
